Friends of Babraham School FOBS notice board (10K)

The Friends of Babraham School (FoBS) are our school/parent body and play an important part in the life of the school and all parents, carers and staff automatically become members.  They help to support the varied educational, social and fund-raising events that enrich the opportunities available to the children and are a valued part of the school.

Regular social and fundraising events have included children's discos, an international food evening, the annual fireworks and bonfire party, the summer country fayre, camping at school nights and live band events.  FoBS members also support school events such as sports day, fund raising cake stalls, the Christmas party, help with book fairs etc.  They make regular contributions to school funds including play equipment, school trips and class funds.

A list of FoBS committee members can be found at the bottom of this page.

Friends of Babraham School are a registered charity, no. 1102190

Forthcoming Events

Band Night (adult only) - Saturday 17th May
Following on from an extremely successful event held last year, FoBS are combining with the Babraham Institute Sports and Social club once more to present live music from 'Awesome'.

Camping Night (family event) - Saturday 21st June
Make sure you patch up your tent ready for the annual and much loved camp-at-school night.
More details will follow soon.

Country Fayre (family event) - Saturday 5th July
If you are planning to have a spring sort-out anytime soon, please remember that we will need good quality books and toys, so please save them for us.  Also, if you have any unwanted Christmas presents, then FoBS would be grateful to receive them as raffle prizes for this and other events earlier in the year.

Babraham School 50/50 Club

The Babraham 50/50 Club is a lottery club, designed to raise funds for Babraham School.  It will be administered by the Friends of Babraham School (FoBS).  Very many schools around the country have something similar (often called a "100 Club"), and they have proved to be valuable fundraisers.

For more details please see the Babraham 50/50 Club Flyer.
